Two Movie Reviews by Emily Chaves, 6th Grade It’s a "Miracle" In Disney’s "Miracle," Kurt Russell plays an ambitious hockey coach who has the dream of winning the Olympics. Herb Brooks (Russell) becomes the coach of the USA Olympic hockey team. Brooks says in the movie, "I’m not lookin’ for the best players, I’m lookin’ for the right ones." Coach Brooks chooses a team of many different kinds of players, and the team suffers through all of the hard extra work. They come to realize that the only way they’re going to win is if they become a team. The team was right, and this is what led them to the Olympics. I give this movie an 8 out of 10 because it’s a fun, family
film. Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" is a movie about a girl from New York City who moves to the suburbs of New Jersey. Of course, this future actress is not very happy about moving because she thinks she doesn’t have a chance of becoming a star. That isn’t exactly true. Over time, Mary, or the name she likes to calls herself, Lola, makes a friend. Lola and her friend learn about each other and find how they are alike and different from one another. They go on adventures together. They learn new things about each other, which helps them to build a stronger relationship. By the end of the movie, many dreams come true. I give this movie a 7 out 10 because of the fun and excitement.
